ndrea lee is a rising LPGA Tour Star, highlighted by winning her first event at the Portland Classic in 2022. Lee won at all levels, winning 9 matches during her collegiate time in the ranks of Standford University. She also spent 17 consecutive weeks in the top spot in the women's amateur World ranking. Following her win of the Mark H. McCormack Award as the best-ranked Women's Amateur around the globe following the completion of the 2019 season Lee made the switch to professional. Andrea Lee was born on the 15th of August, 1998, in Los Angeles. James James started teaching her when she was 5 years old to play the game of golf. Over the course of four years she racked up 50 junior titles. She qualified for in 2014 at the US Women's Open at Pinehurst No. age 15 along with her dad along with her as a caddie. Her sponsors arranged for her to participate in the 2015. ANA Inspiration LPGA Tour. She was however only one stroke short of making the cut. Lee also received the Mark H. McCormack Award for the year 2019, having finished her season in the top of amateur ranking. While playing as an amateur, Lee achieved four holes in one and one albatross. Lee was ranked in the top 10 two times during her first year on LPGA Tour. She placed 7th in the AIG Women's Open in 2020 that was played in the Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee's first LPGA Tour victory came in 2022 at the Portland Classic. Lee devoted her victory to late Min who said I was a great player and believed in my abilities. She said, "I was so grateful for him. And I know that he's following me." Lee was previously a competitor in figure skating, soccer as well as taekwondo. Lee's other interests besides golf revolve around movies, shopping and singing. She also loves to snowboard.
