In 2008, Traue was selected for leading female character in the film Pandorum an action/science-fiction film directed by Christian Alvart and written by Travis Milloy and starring Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster. Robertson's credits include Diggstown, The Blackening Block Party and Juneteenth. Robertson was born in the city of New York, and grew in Jamaica. Her parents were originally from Jamaica however they moved to New York. She graduated with the BSc qualification in Chemistry from Stony Brook University.
